ROSEMONT- Senior captain Elizabeth Kemp (Williamstown, N.J./Williamstown), sophomore Elizabeth Goodwin (Blandon/Fleetwood), and first year Ashley Montecchio (Aston/SunValley) earned were named Honorable Mention in the Colonial States Athletic Conference All-Conference Field Hockey Team. In addition, Kemp was named to the CSAC Field Hockey All-Sportsmanship Team.

The All-Conference team is voted on by each conference coach. It is compiled of the best players from the conference. Kemp, Goodwin and Montecchio demonstrated strong play and tenacity throughout the season. Kemp notched two goals and an assist from the midfield. Goodwin, a defender, was a wall for the team with strong tackles and jabs while Montecchio, a midfielder, was a catalyst for plays taking the ball down to field on goal, notching one assist in the process.

The All-Sportsmanship team is comprised of one student-athlete from each team in the conference that has best exemplified sportsmanship on a consistent basis. The player is nominated by her team coach. Kemp, a team captain, was the epitomy of good sportsmanship and character. She showed respect to all and showed lots of hard work and determination.

Congratulations to all three student-athletes for their strong play and accolades for the season.
