Stamler Named to CSAC Weekly Honor Roll

ROSEMONT, Pa. – Rosemont College pitcher Gabrielle Stamler was selected to the CSAC Weekly Honor Roll for the week of 3/13/2012.

Stamler earned the win in both of Rosemont’s come-from-behind victories over Cazenovia on Friday. in game one, she hurled nine innings and allowed just one earned run, on three hits with five strikeouts, as Rosemont posted the 4-3 extra-inning win. In the nightcap, she came on in relief in the seventh and retired the side in order, before Rosemont scored two runs in the bottom of the frame for the walk-off win. She was also a hard-luck loser in Wednesday’s 2-1, nine-inning loss to Penn St-Abington, as she worked all nine innings and allowed just one earned run, on five hits, while striking out six. On the week, her strikeout-to-walk ratio was 23-1.
