Seven Men's Soccer Players Make All-CSAC Teams

ROSEMONT, Pa. - In only its third year of existence, the Rosemont College men's soccer program had seven players selected to various All-CSAC teams for the 2011 season.

Making the 2011 All-CSAC Second Team was junior Ryan Hartzell (Willow Grove, PA). Hartzell has played solid defense this year, also accounting for two goals and an assist on the offensive side of the field.

Five different Ravens were named to the 2011 All-CSAC Honorable Mention Team. Defenseman, junior Ron Vogelei (Bensalem, PA) made the team. Vogelei had two assists and has been a rock on defense for Rosemont in 2011.

Three midfielders, Junior Ryan Brazuk (Whitehall, PA), junior Sergio Martinez (Allentown, PA) and freshman Luke McIlvaine (Feasterville, PA) were all named to the Honorable Mention team.

Brazuk has scored three goals and two assists for the Ravens. Martinez has had a brilliant season, scoring a goal with six assists while McIlvaine has made a tremendous impression with Rosemont in his first season, scoring four goals and one assist.

On the forward line, junior Rodney Aguirre (Mays Landing, NJ) was recognized for his sterling season, scoring 10 goals to lead the Ravens with an assist.

The 2011 CSAC All-Sportsmanship Team was also announced by the league today. Making the team was Sergio Martinez. The player named to the All-Sportsmanship team is nominated by his coach as the player representing the best sportsmanship for his team for the season.
