SCHEDULES RELEASED FOR TWO NEW ROSEMONT PROGRAMS

ROSEMONT, Pa. - The Rosemont College Athletics Department is excited to announce the inaugural schedules for Women's Soccer (Fall 2011) and Men's Lacrosse (Spring 2012), the new additions to the Rosemont College Athletics programs for the 2011-2012 academic year.

The Women's Soccer team will kick off in their first-ever game at Valley Forge Christian on Thursday, September 1 at 4:00pm. After participating in a tournament in Bryn Mawr on September 3-4, the team will host Penn State - Abington in the Raven's first home game at 4:00pm on Wednesday, September 7. This is the only non-conference opponent that will face the Ravens at home this year.

The team will host CSAC squads from Keystone, Baptist Bible, Centenary, Philadelphia Biblical, Cedar Crest and Cabrini this season. The game against the Falcons of Cedar Crest is scheduled during Family Weekend, on October 1.

The Men's Lacrosse team opens their Spring 2012 schedule on Saturday, March 10 when they play their inaugural game at Messiah College. After a game at Neumann University the team will come home for the first time to host Alvernia University on Thursday, March 15.

The Men's Lacrosse schedule features six home games, and the Ravens will be at home for their last four games of the season. On April 18 Richard Stockton College will come to Rosemont before the Raven's last three home games against CSAC opponents. In addition to CSAC games, the team will also travel to play against non-conference opponents Eastern University (3/21), DeSales University (3/27) and Albright College (3/31).
