Ravens In The Pink Zone

ROSEMONT, Pa. - Alumnae Hall on the campus of Rosemont College was temporarily turned into a sea of pink as the Ravens held their annual "Pink Zone" event. The Pink Zone is part of Rosemont's initiative to raise money and expand awareness of breast cancer in the community.

The Pink Zone provides the Rosemont community a venue to communicate awareness of breast cancer to a large crowd at one venue as part of their multiple-month effort. Last night's events featured a pink lei giveaway, pink socks worn by all players, pink whistles for the officials, sales of student-made Pink Zone objects, and other activities all used to raise funds and awareness for the fight against Breast Cancer.

The students will continue to raise funds until Rosemont's Founder's Day, in April.
